These Ti retainers are machined to exact specifications and help reduce the overall weight of the valvetrain area. As a direct result of the reduced weight, RPM's are increased. Note: Factory single spring equipped K-series engine applications will need to convert to a dual-spring components before applying Blox Ti retainers (ie. dual springs, dual spring seats, dual spring keepers, dual spring retainers).
