These Georgian era, antique earrings (circa 1820) depict the ouroboros, a serpent swallowing its tail. Each 14k gold hoop bears one garnet and one diamond eye -- so you can wear them with two slightly different looks. The hoops have back to front closures.
Each earring is 0.85 inches from the top of the ear wire to bottom by 0.2 inches wide. They are in fair condition with a bit of an indentation on the side of one earring.
The earrings are hollow with a combined weight of 1.87 grams.
