Our Hi-Tek deep transmission pans are constructed from A356-T6 aluminum and are cast with thick internal and external fins, adding additional strength and increased cooling properties. The deep pan design increases fluid capacity by 2 quarts over the stock O.E. pan. All these features combined help dissipate heat quicker netting lower transmission and fluid temperatures and prolonging the life of your transmission, transmission fluid, and corresponding components. Other features of this popular pan include a drain port with a magnetic drain plug for clean and easy servicing. Also includes a 1/8-inch NPT temperature sensor port for easily adding a temp gauge for monitoring transmission temperatures while daily driving, towing, or racing. Includes detailed instructions with all necessary hardware for an easy at-home installation. Note: 10R80 transmissions do not come with a dipstick from the factory to check the fluid level. As a solution, B&M offers an optional locking dipstick part #22200 to measure transmission fluid level. Also available in a black anodized finish (B&M Part #71400).

    I purchased this 24mm socket specificaly to remove the oil filter housing on my Ram Promaster 2500 truck. Since there is limited space to get a standard socket in this area, this low profile socket was able to do the job without requiring me to loosen and push aside other components. I like that this socket is light weight, made of aluminum with large easy to read size eched into the body. the oil filter housing is made of plastic and does not require a beefy heavy steel socket. The walls on this socket are plenty thick as to cause me no concern about durability. To me, the green color is a nice touch as will be easy to spot in my socket set for the oil changes.
