Bruichladdich Octomore 10yr old 2008 70cls ABV:56.8%Nose: There is a richness, a smoothness with chocolate, tobacco, bonfire smoke, leather. Vanilla custard, blueberry dry straw and pear drops. Tastes: Warming, spicy, mulled wine. Leather and tobacco, malt sugar, icing sugar. All wrapped together in earthy peaty smoke. Dry on the palate Finish: Oak driven, coconut, tobacco, vanilla, then smoke. Balanced with the time in the cask which has calmed the smoke, both through the phenols lowering naturally
