About Anna's Hummingbirds

Anna's hummingbird is stocky for a hummingbird. They are about 10 cm long and weigh between 3–6 g. Both the female and male are grey-green, but the male has an iridescent red-pink throat which looks a dull grey without direct sunlight. They feed on small insects and nectar but regularly visit hummingbird feeders and flowering plants in gardens.
