Sub Rosa present the first LP issue of Bass Terror from Bill Laswell and Nicholas James Bullen, originally released as a CD in Sub Rosa's Subsonic series in 1995. Bass Terror Tetragrammaton" is the dark side of Bill Laswell at the peak of his art in 1995 - he goes into a black trance. The piece is not from a collaboration, it was designed alone, in his studio in Brooklyn. "Bass Terror Tetragrammaton" is also to be linked to an alchemical process. "Nocturnal Crawl" is a totally hypnotic piece, the first that Nik Bullen designed outside of Napalm Death and Scorn. The two pieces answer each other strangely, like two sides of the same hidden anxiety. The concept of the Subsonic series was the confrontation of electric guitars as the tutelary instrument, but here and this time only, it came out of bassists confronting each other. Red vinyl; Edition of 400.

Simple, elegant, versatile
Premium quality at a reasonable price. Simple and elegant. I have yet to wear this watch without receiving multiple compliments, even in sweatpants on my way to the gym. I took it to a high-end jewelry store to have some links removed, the master jeweler there immediately commented on the quality of the movement and what an underrated watch Tissot makes. (Mind you, he had a table full of Rolexes, AP's and Pateks that he was working on) Very comfortable to wear, heavy enough to feel it on your wrist and light enough where it doesnt not become cumbersome.

Best Swiss auto at this price that isn't a microbrand.
Well built Swiss made piece. Date turns over right at 00:00. Most accurate Swiss auto at this price. Bracelet is decent. Not a fan of butterfly clasps but I can't be picky at this price. Dial is amazing, especially in the sun. Perfect fit for my 7.25 inch wrist.

Tissot Gentleman checks the boxes!
For the price point the Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium checked all the boxes. It is Swiss, 40 mm(good size for average to large wrist), allows for multiple wrist straps/bands and sapphire crystal... one thing to note is the dial color is not grey but anthracite so it is closer to black. However I knew this from Tissot website and this is why I purchased it. I switched out the metal bracelet/band(which I recommend buying) with a brown band....looks great so would a grey. The vendor was reliable and I recommend the watch for purchase. Be careful when selecting dial color. The blue and anthracite are close to black. There is a silver.
