Overview

The Optima Elite XL Printer is a high-quality direct thermal label printer designed specifically for the Optima Elite System. This new Elite XL version replaces the popular Protag Elite test tag printer, allowing test tag printing directly from the Seaward Primetest Elite tester. The printer is rechargeable and connects via Bluetooth, providing total portability. It is compatible with both Optima test tags and the new UV- and heat-resistant XL test tags, ensuring durable test tag printing for various environments.

The printer is configured to operate with the Primetest Elite, printing details such as test date, next test date, operator information, and test status. It also allows the printing of your organisation’s logo on the test tags. The printer automatically prints a "fail" tag in the event of a failed test. The cost includes tag image setup prior to dispatch.

A range of tag colours are available with the Optima tag range—see Consumables. Elite XL test tags are available in white with a range of coloured overlays.

Applications:

The Optima Elite XL Printer is suitable for test tag output, printing robust direct thermal vinyl tags that are durable in most environments. No other consumables (such as toner or ribbon) are required. When used with blank test tag rolls, the cost per tag can be reduced to as little as 12 cents.

Better than expected
This thing is great. I wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. I have no complaints, quality is fine, the grind is fine, it's easy to use. I've used mine every day since I purchased it and it works good as new. This is my first manual burr grinder, so there could very well be better ones out there, but I am very happy with this purchase.

A good little grinder for small batches.
It's a good quality grinder, I use mine for my moka pot since the grind needs to be specific. It's very easy to use and its small enough to store away. The only issue is it takes some time and effort to grind for more than one person, so keep that in mind if you're brewing anything more than a cup of espresso or a moka pot. I've dropped mine more than I can count so store on its side (although its very sturdy and was not broken) A solid product.

Works very well as a pill grinder!
One of the clients I work with needs his pills crushed and dissolved. We have relied on the spoons method for years but some of his newer medications don’t crush well enough using that method. We tried the basic plastic pill crushers but they tend to get gummed up and don’t actually pulverize the pills. This fit our needs perfectly and the pills get crushed into a fine powder with ease. It is very easy to use and clean and takes very little effort to operate (at least for pills).

Great Little Grinder — Solid Build & Easy to Use!
I’ve really enjoyed using this manual coffee grinder! For the price, it’s an excellent find. The adjustable settings work surprisingly well — I’ve been able to get a consistent grind whether I’m brewing for espresso or French press, which isn’t always the case with more affordable manual grinders. The ceramic burr gives a nice, even grind without overheating the beans, which helps preserve the flavor. It’s easy to use and straightforward to adjust. The grind size clicks into place firmly, so you don’t feel like it’s going to slip or change while you’re using it. One fill gives me enough coffee for about two cups, which is perfect for my morning routine or when I’m brewing a small batch. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, with a sleek look that doesn’t feel cheap. The handle turns smoothly and doesn’t wobble, which makes the whole experience feel solid and satisfying. I’ve taken it on a short weekend trip already, and it’s lightweight and compact enough for travel or camping. If you're someone who loves the ritual of grinding your own beans or just wants a reliable backup grinder for when the power’s out, I’d highly recommend this one. Great value for a tool that feels like it’ll last!
