This is a story about change and the evolution of aviation, and how a man with a tenth grade education was able to become an airline pilot with two major airlines because the airline management was not aware of his limited formal education. In this book he recalls the good, the bad, the safe, and the unsafe in yesterdays and todays aviation. Dedicated to all pilots, whether civil, military, or commercial, that have been there and done that, but in a language that the public can understand, enjoy, and fully appreciate the evolution of early aviation into what it has become today.

About the Author

Captain Donald J. Worley left high school and joined the US Navy during World War II. After the war, taking advantage of the GI Bill, he elevated his education to a level necessary to take his flight training in 1947. This took him from light aircraft, instructor pilot, seaplanes, two and four engine aircraft, through to the modern large jets. He flew to such places as Alaska, Northwest Territory, Canada, United States, and Mexico. Also, during the Vietnam War in 1967-68, he flew into Da Nang, Saigon, Cameron Bay, Bangkok, China, Japan, and the Philippines. Now retired from Northwest Airlines at age 76, he is still active in aviation.

Reliable product made with care
quality has been consistently excellent every single time. It’s reliable, tastes great, and you can tell it’s made with care. What really stands out is how it makes me feel afterward. Even after working a 12-hour overtime shift, I don’t feel as exhausted. It genuinely helps me keep my energy up. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something dependable and effective. I’ll definitely keep ordering.

Look nice.
These were really nice for canned oysters, way better than what we can get in the stores in our area. Perfect for milk based oyster soup! the ratio is one can of cream of mushroom, one can full of milk, one can of oysters. Add butter, salt, pepper, and bring to a boil.

Does the job
Tastes like boiled oysters, so it has that nailed down. I use it in my shrimp ramen noodles sometimes, sometimes I use it to flavor garnish dishes. Best price I could find, but apparently it is a specialty product.

Unparalleled source of heme iron.
This stuff is medicine if your are anemic or have low serum iron. Elemental iron from veggies or pills must be prepared by your body to carry oxygen in hemoglobin. Not so with iron from animals and oysters are unparalleled in iron content. Even if you don't find them delicious you will find them efficacious.

Do not recommend
Edible, though barely. Definitely the worst tasting oysters I've tried of all the brands. Hopefully I don't get food poisoning as has been reported by other reviewers.
