Ohio was born billions of years ago, during a time when ancient minicontinents crystallized and then merged into larger continents. Its youth was marked by the coming and going of oceans and the advent of life from ocean to land. The Buckeye State matured when ice sheets scoured its landscape. This storyline is writ large and small in Ohios rocks, from its flat till plains to the rumpled and hollowed landscape of the Appalachian Plateau. In Ohio Rocks , skilled writer and geologist Albert Dickas takes you to some of the states most interesting geologic chapters. At Blackhand Gorge the sandy deposits of an ancient sea were cut and sculpted by glacial meltwater. In Scioto County you can trace the margins of a ghost river that flowed before the ice ages. And you can visit the historic Buckeye Furnace, which produced enough pig iron to make Ohio an industrial giant in the nineteenth century.
Color photos, maps, and figures compliment the text and further elucidate the geology within the rocks. Ohio Rocks is the third book in the state-by-state Geology Rocks series, which introduces readers to some of the most compelling and accessible geologic sites in each state.

Tasha's favorite toy
Color: Blue
A little smaller than expected, but my puppy loves it! We've only had it for a few days, but it seems like it will hold up well.

Not for Destructive Dogs
Color: Blue
It might be okay for a little dog, but my heeler had it dismantled in short order and I threw it away. Cute toy, but not for a destructive dog.

Fantastic octopus
Color: Blue
This toy is everything for my 15 lb schnauzer. Tons of crinkles in each of 8 legs and squeezes easily at head. He has over 75 toys and is one of his top 5 toys now. Great size not too big. Dog see blue and yellow so a plus. Rest of colors to them are shades of black, greys and to white.

Cute and fun!
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
This was exactly as described! The head has a squeaky and the legs crinkle. I have a small dog who does not destroy her toys so I think this will last a long time. So far—she loves it!!
