The K&N 69-6000TR Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Mazda Miata and MX-5 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-6000TR air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive red powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Super happy with the purchase. I went with king size bed for my boyfriend and I, because in the past when we have bought queen size, it seems to just fit the top of my bed and not go over. Also my boyfriend like to hog the blankets so wanted the change to at least still have enough for me. This blanket is perfect for us, helps to keep us warm during the recent cold weather and feels so great against our skin. It feels luxurious, isnt super thin and quality seems great.
As soon as we got it I washed it on the sensitive cycle with cold water. Then put it in for air dry in the dryer. It fluffed up by a lot, that I had to run it a couple more cycles and stopping it in between to pull it back out and rearrange it to make sure it was drying, since it would roll up. Near the end when it was almost dry. Not a single speck of lint. Nothing shed off this blanket while it dried, which was such a surprise for me. Hoping to invest in a few more in the future. Very happy with the purchase. It checks the marks for functionality, sleep quality and durability that I have seen for far. It would make a great gift and any moment I could suggest this blanket to a friend I would.
I bought two of these for my twins as well to go over another cheaper warm blanket they already had, due to severe winter watch in my area. I wanted to make sure they had all the warmth they needed if power ever went out, thankfully it never did. They were kicking off their other blankets and choosing this one in their sleep over their other one.
