The delivery van appears with a dark green body with a red and white masked panel on the sides promoting the REAs delivery service. The Railway Express Agency lettering is printed in gold

Avid 1:87 scale American Classics collectors will recall seeing the Railway Express Service livery on the Oxford Dodge B1-B Pickup, so now’s a chance to team it up with the latest introduction of the 1950 Chevrolet Panel Van as used by the courier service of the day. The delivery van appears with a dark green body with a red and white masked panel on the sides promoting the REA’s delivery service.  The Railway Express Agency lettering is printed in gold beneath.  The name is printed again in red and white on both the side and rear doors.  The bumpers and wheels are red and the model sports whitewall tyres.  Other external trim including radiator grille and hubcaps is finished in silver while the interior is black.  Our model is registered in Illinois as 479 037 in 1950.
