From there, the family moved to Baileyton, Tennessee with her parents and siblings; named after the brother of Thomas Bailey, Claudius. In the years that followed the family spread southward and westward to all the states across the nation. They fought in every war; the Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, World War 1 and 2, Korean, and Vietnam. They soon forgot their beginnings in castles across the ocean and settled into such occupations as farmers, lawyers, accountants, doctors and teachers. Many of the Bailey men were also Freemasons.
