  About the Artist

  For the past decade Prudence De Marchi has dedicated herself to special education, working as an Assistant Principal at a local Newcastle special school. Whilst on maternity leave she found herself with time to dedicate to her first passion – painting. She now creates from her studio in Newcastle NSW.

  Predominantly working with acrylics on canvas, Prudence is influenced by nature, architecture, design, music and fashion. She creates abstract paintings that vary from fervent strokes of colour to more controlled geometric and organic forms.

  Prudence has exhibited in several joint and solo exhibitions across Australia.
