Now retired, Jack uses his skills in another arena, a futuristic combat arena where pilots from all over the world come to compete against each other in a tournament unlike any other, where once again, men and machines from the past can fight it out in the skies to determine who is the best, and who deserves to be called the Ace of Aces. It is at this tournament that Jack and his friends come face to face with someone from Jack's past, a former enemy ace pilot who was the only man in the world that stood a chance of beating Jack in combat, and who almost did, in a battle whose outcome was unknown, until now. It will take all of Jack's skills to once again, defeat this man, and the memory of that fight so long ago if he is to be once again, the Ace of Aces.
