About the Author

David E. Tivel is a native of California and currently resides in Virginia, where he and his wife raised their three now-grown children. Mr. Tivel holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree and completed post-graduate studies in Science and Technology Management. He is now retired after an extensive career in the nuclear power industry developing, maintaining, and supporting computer applications. With broad and varied interestsincluding making and playing five-string banjoes and acoustic guitarsMr. Tivels motivation to write Evolution grew from his own curiosity about the universe, life, religion, and the changes they have undergone over time.
