Double vinyl LP pressing of this 2010 EP from veteran producer Terror Danjah. Power Grid ranges from the spiky, minimal "Space Traveller" and synthy beasts like "Twisted" to the vicious title track that pits shuffling two-step drums against a dark, fierce bass-line and the occasional firing breakbeat. "Upton Lane" contrasts a twinkling synth melody with big kick drums and nervy chords, while "Horror Story" goes cold and minimal with shivery bass, sliding drums and spooked-out harp chords. Danjah picks up a lot of pieces from rave's past (the Gremlin sample, an oft-noted resemblance to the Prodigy's "Charly") but instead of seeing it all in nostalgic sepia tones, he does what he usually does: roughs things up.

Defective Item

The door broke off immediately out of the package and the screws are stripped so they can’t be tightened into place. I might superglue it because I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it and it’s the only way they’d offer even a partial refund for a defective product when I asked.

Effective & Attractive with Wireless Charging

This "valet" organizer, which is the first time I've heard that term for a product like this, is nearly perfect. For me, it checks all of the boxes and in a perfect world, I would have opted for a smaller piece with only three compartments for mobile, wallet, and keys.
It's well made and quite attractive, especially the blue (favorite color, so I'm biased). The only feature I'm not a fan of is how the removeable, wireless charging pad was implemented, which sits up on a small lip at a slight incline. However, I'm not complaining one bit as the wireless charging is great, and it's a differentiator that determines the value of the piece. I would have preferred the pad be built into the piece, however the angle of it does make it easy to grab opposed to using your finger(s) to pry it up.
