Some stories are partly true, others are entirely false, but all show the power of invention in history. Pythagoras emerges as a symbol of the urge to conjecture and "fill in the gaps" of history. He has been credited with fundamental discoveries in mathematics and the sciences, yet there is nearly no evidence that he really contributed anything to such fields at all. This book asks: how does history change when we subtract the many small exaggerations and interpolations that writers have added for over two thousand years? The Cult of Pythagoras is also about invention in a positive sense. Most people view mathematical breakthroughs as "discoveries" rather than invention or creativity, believing that mathematics describes a realm of eternal ideas. But mathematicians have disagreed about what is possible and impossible, about what counts as a proof, and even about the results of certain operations. stiff like cardboard tops of shoes

These shoes are good enough quality and cute cute - even fit great, EXCEPT the faux leather top (part that encircles your leg) is so stiff, that when you walk, it cuts into your leg like hard cardboard making it difficult to walk comfortably. I do like them otherwise, but can't stand the hard, unbending top of these shoes.

Sizing.

They run big, I usually wear a size 9 wide, but since they didn't come in a wide, I chose a 10 and they fit comfortably width wise, but they were too big otherwise. I would recommend letting viewers know if it is a wide shoe to let buyers know, to better serve the customer on what size to purchase, other than that, I loved the shoes just wish I could've kept them and worn them for my event.

100% cotton dress

I really like the fit of this dress. The details are feminine with top ruching and gold button on the neck.
The dress is 100% cotton sateen fabric and is on the thin side and may require a slip if you get a light color. I purchased this dress in navy and black with floral. It has a defined waist and comes to my natural waist. A tiered aline skirt and cap sleeves a cute detail on the trim.
I can dress this up with any color belt to define the waist further.
I purchased a size large and it fits well with a bit of a roomy waist. I think of o got a medium it maybe to small on top and waist.
I got this for $15 on black Friday.
Perfect spring and summer dress. Can be a fall dress with tights and a sweater.
My only criticism of the dress is the tip of the zipper is not sewed in to the dress and it sticks out when you lift your arm. I did stitch the material into the seam and it only took a few minutes.
