One of the most heartwarming reunions of recent times has been the re-emergence of the Ace of Cups, the pioneering all-women band that memorably graced the stages of the San Francisco psychedelic ballrooms in late 1960s, yet never got a chance to make a record. With their decades-overdue debut album garnering much in the way of plaudits, there has been renewed interest in "It's Bad For You But Buy It", the Big Beat anthology that first introduced the world to the music of this remarkable outfit back in 2003. Previously a full-length CD, we now offer a distilled vinyl version of this much-loved compilation of vintage demos, rehearsals and live tracks dating from 1968 and 1969, focusing on tracks cut by the original Ace of Cups five-piece. The youthful wit, energy and soul on display on cuts like 'Glue,' 'Circles' and 'Music' continues to resonate, explaining why the group was rated by no less than Jimi Hendrix and are fondly recalled by all who encountered them. This attractive new vinyl package comes with a detailed band history and boasts an alternative, previously unissued performance of the song 'Simplicity' to that of the CD version. Amazing Halo Graphic Novel

this book is kinda mediocre. the first story was amazing. great art, great story, and great dialogue. very cool perspective on what seems like the covenants first encounter with the flood. the dialogue-less one about sgt johnson surviving in a flood infested area was pretty good too. the armor testing story wasn’t bad but kinda felt like a waste of time. and the last one had such terrible art i couldn’t even read it. but i also enjoyed reading the “behind the scenes” author’s notes before and after each story.

So bad it’s hard to believe

I bought this to see the story about the half-jaw white elite, one of my favorite characters. In that regard it was fantastic. That story and its art are epic. The next two stories were HORRENDOUS. The middle two stories truly look like they were drawn by talented 8th graders. The dialogue is cringe for the second story and the third story is wordless. There are also resolution issues throughout. Pictures don’t really get across just how UGLY the middle two stories are. The fourth and last story looks like an actual professional artist did it, but I’m too traumatized to try to read it. The foreword is insufferable and irrelevant and the end of the book is filled with fan art that is not quite charming in a book I paid money for.

Worth the Money

Love this book and I’m happy I bought it new. It came in perfect condition. It’s so nicely put together with high quality images of the main game, even the three DLC games. I like reading the huge list of dialog that the characters have. I learned things about the game I never knew. Ex,the ice goddess and the fire god having a relationship. It even goes into detail about Comrades. The art from the competition Illustrations. It’s my favorite page. I hope other people learn a few things from it like I did. It’s great for a collector and such a pretty book. Worth it! Buy it. Would buy this again!

Great book for FFXV

I bought this book after completing the game and honestly, it is so informative on stuff that weren't mentioned in the game. I loved learning more about the characters and their backstory and all the concept art.
