History is recorded in many ways. According to author James Deetz, the past can be seen most fully by studying the small things so often forgotten. Objects such as doorways, gravestones, musical instruments, and even shards of pottery fill in the cracks between large historical events and depict the intricacies of daily life. In his completely revised and expanded edition of In Small Things Forgotten, Deetz has added new sections that more fully acknowledge the presence of women and African Americans in Colonial America. New interpretations of archaeological finds detail how minorities influenced and were affected by the development of the Anglo-American tradition in the years following the settlers' arrival in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620. Among Deetz's observations:Subtle changes in building long before the Revolutionary War hinted at the growing independence of the American colonies and their desire to be less like the British.
Records of estate auctions show that many households in Colonial America contained only one chair--underscoring the patriarchal nature of the early American family. All other members of the household sat on stools or the floor.
The excavation of a tiny community of freed slaves in Massachusetts reveals evidence of the transplantation of African culture to North America. Simultaneously a study of American life and an explanation of how American life is studied, In Small Things Forgotten, through the everyday details of ordinary living, colorfully depicts a world hundreds of years in the past.

Nice
Its cool, I like the packaging as well as how much product you get for the price. It has a lightweght water-gel texture, it feels nice to apply. I dont think it helps much with redness unless you really have rosacea then maybe a little bit. But anyways, I really love this brand.

Lightweight and gentle on sensitive skin
I like this moisturizer a lot. It feels light on the skin, absorbs nicely, and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy afterward.
The formula is comfortable for daily use, offers decent consistency, and I appreciate that it’s fragrance-free. The quality is better than expected, especially for trying a new-to-me brand. I have very acne-prone skin and a lot of products leave me red due to sensitivity, so it's nice finding one that doesn't agitate my skin.
For the size and how easily it fits into a routine, I think the value is good. It’s one I’d keep around, especially when I want something simple and calming.

The pads have changed but still a good product
I have been using these make up remover pads for many years now and will continue to use them. I like the 3 pack so that I do not run out. I usually only use 1 pad a day so a 3pk will last me for a long while. I do not have any issues with the pads drying out in the time frame from opening them to using the last one so that is a major plus. I have no issues with these on my skin or that close to my eyes and they do a great job of removing my mascara, which is the only make up I use. I recommend them. I will say that in 2025 they have changed the material for their pads, they are now thinner and do not have the texture they used to have which for me the only difference is that they can be a bit more difficult to separate but nothing to complain about.
