What is Clarinaze 0.05% Allergy Control Nasal Spray?

Clarinaze is a nasal spray that helps ease and control the symptoms of hay fever. With the steroid mometasone furoate as the active ingredient. Mometasone is a corticosteroid medication, which can be known as steroids, and work by reducing inflammation on the inside of your nose. 

Clarinaze provides a prescription strength treatment for common hay fever symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and nasal congestion. 

Other Allergies Clarinaze can help with are:

• Pet 
• Mould 
• Dust

Clarinaze works by blocking the release of certain natural substances that cause allergy symptoms.

Warnings and Precautions

• Only use in the nose
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children
• Read the package leaflet before use

DO NOT USE:

• If you are under 18 years old
• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients Clarinaze contains
• You have an untreated infection in your nose, as this can worsen the infection
• You have recently had an operation on your nose or have injured your nose. Wait until your nose has healed before using this product

Speak to your GP or our pharmacist before using

• You have been continuously using it for more than 3 months without consulting your GP
• If you are pregnant or breast feeding 
• If you Have or have ever had tuberculosis
• If you have any other infections
• If you are taking other corticosteroids, either by mouth or injection
• If you have cystic fibrosis

While you are using this product, speak to your GP or pharmacist if you experience any of the following:

• Your immune system is not functioning well and you come into contact with someone who has measles or chickenpox. (Avoid coming into contact with either of these conditions while using this product)
• You have an infection of the nose or throat
• You have persistent irritation to the nose or throat
• You have experienced blurred vision or other visual disturbances

Other Ingredients: dispersible cellulose, glycerol, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
