Information: The Painters Project is an ongoing series by Belgian photographer Eric Ceccarini, born from encounters between a painter, a model, and a photographer. Ceccarini offers artists a living canvas—the body of a model—inviting them to step beyond their usual practice into a space of light, shadow, movement, and sensitivity.
The process challenges painters to adapt their strokes to a canvas that breathes and shifts, transforming body and art into one. This dialogue between disciplines—painting, photography, and performance—breaks with the solitude of creation, giving rise to unexpected, ephemeral works.
The painted body, fleeting by nature, finds permanence through Ceccarini’s lens, where gesture and moment are forever preserved. To date, over a hundred collaborations have unfolded with artists worldwide, from Europe to the Americas, Asia, and beyond.
