Newly signed to legendary Earache, KRIS BARRAS BAND harness the twilight-lit melodies and stampeding force beloved by fans of Architects, Shinedown, and Alter Bridge.

Amplifying the heavier sound from their last album Death Valley Paradise (which landed a Top 30 spot in the UK Album Chart and saw four tracks added to Planet Rock Radio's A-list playlist), Halo Effect delivers hard-hitting riffs, captivating choruses that soar, and fuse-lighting technical solos.

Frontman Kris Barras elaborates, "There is a strong rock & metal influence throughout the album and there's also some progressive elements with some odd time riffs and experimental midsections. There are even some melodies and production ideas not dissimilar to what a lot of the modern metalcore bands are doing. Musically, this album is a lot more riff- and groove-based. Compact, Versatile, and No Rust So Far

I looked around quite a bit before buying this because a lot of sellers offer the same or very similar design. I even saw versions with a dedicated spot for a Scrub Daddy, but I didn’t feel like paying extra for that. I went with this one hoping it would still work for my setup, and it absolutely does. I’m limited on counter space, and this doesn’t take up much room at all. The removable brush holder cup is a big plus, I removed it and use that space for my Sponge Daddy, which fits perfectly. It also fits my hand soap and dish soap bottles without any issues, and I use the brush holder section to hold clean utensils. I’ve been using this for almost two months now and wash dishes constantly, so there’s pretty much always some water dripping from the sponge while it dries. So far, there’s been no rusting and no color chipping, which was something I was concerned about. Overall, it works perfectly for my needs and feels well made.

The gauge of the wire used is pretty thin. There is no real weight to this item. It does do exactly what I need it to do as it allows me to dry my dish cleaning brushes and my Dawn Puff brush in an organized manner. The taller basket is nice especially for my long handled brushes. It would actually be nice if there was a second basket since I have more handled brushes than anything else. I am also really happy that I went with this design where the drain pan is the entire length rather than a little spout where all the drainage is focused. The full length lines up better to usage of each individual brush. Due to its materials, I don't have much confidence in this being around long. So far, the black coating has held up and no r*sting (do not want to jinx myself) has occurred, but if and when it does, I fully expect the metal to fold like a house of cards. The design is actually great. The materials are its Achielles' Heel.
