Founded in 1983 by brothers Willard Richardson Jr. And Patrick Richardson, The Unit Band gathered in a few multi-talented singers and musicians, all neighborhood friends who grew up together and attended Alcee Fortier High and surrounding schools. At the time, The Unit Band also interacted with other New Orleans based groups such as the Neville Brothers, Chocolate Milk, Family Players and Windjammer who later got signed to major labels. The original issue of this 45 is pretty much impossible to find and turns up for sale extremely seldom. We are finally able to bring this grail to you legitimately in high quality. Rare modern soul, boogie & funk collectors will definitely be thrilled by the reissue of this rare, highly collectable and totally essential 45!

Daughter loved her gift…

The throw came in a box; it was very heavy. I did not open the box. I wrapped it instead. It was fluffy, and beautiful! My daughter loved it, it was one of the gifts she really wanted for Christmas. It is a great throw for a couch, and I’ve been told it’s warm, comfortable, and nicely made. The value for the price was also excellent. It’s beautiful; anyone would be happy to showcase this in their living room, and of course it’s highly functional - daughter says that it is so snuggly, warm, and the size is perfect!

Lovely Throw, But Falls Short of Luxurious
I really like this two-sided throw, with its plush fur-like material on one side and silky velveteen on the other. The texture is warm and silky, and the color complements my sofa beautifully. However, while it’s a nice blanket, it doesn’t quite measure up to the same size throw I bought a month ago from a local German “here today, gone tomorrow” store. That European snuggle bundle, priced at a single Benjamin, has my entire family stealing it from one another.
This throw could benefit from being a bit heavier, with a loftier fur side and thicker velvet to feel more luxurious—especially at twice the cost of the blanket we all love. ( black Friday/cyber Monday dropped it eight dollars) Without any discounts, the price feels inflated for what it is. It’s still a lovely addition to my home, but it falls short of five stars even at the discount price on the day of this review.
