Care
General Maintenance: If stems and leaves begin to overgrow you can pinch the top of certain stems to stop their growth. As well you can prune and shape your plant to make it more visuallly appealing. The best method of propagation is by cutting off a section of stem tips and planting them in a new pot.Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 18º - 24º Celsius, and no lower than 15º.
Light: Bright light and for the variegated types of peperomia some direct sunlight (couple of hours) can help them grow well. If the leaves are dark green in color it's best not to provide direct sun as it will harm them, but the variegated types may lose variegation if enough light is not provided. South, east or west facing windows are best suited, but again dependent on the leaf color.
Watering: Allow the top of the soil to completely dry out and then water your plant thoroughly. Do not overwater or allow your plant to become waterlogged. During the winter, water more spaingly as the leaves will hold onto quite a bit of water. Will tolerate average house humidity, but it will appreciate a pebble tray filled with water underneath its pot during the summer months.
Soil: A peat-based soil works best for these plants. An ideal mix is 2 parts peat to 1 part perlite or sand. Any well-aerated and well-draining mix should work well.
Fertilizer: During spring, use a diluted liquid fertilizer once every two weeks. Feed once a month during summer and do not feed during autumn and winter.

Disappointed

These were great for about 20 minutes then they stopped squeaking...we have 2 left that I have saved but the other 4 do not squeak anymore...disappointed as my dog loves to squeak things...would not buy these again...My dog is only an 8lb dog too...but he can still play with the balls without the squeak...

Great Value for a ball my dog loves!

I wish these ball were in the subscription program! My dog gets sooo excited by the new ball, but her interest in things lasts for a few days. She kills the squeak within 11minutes, but the squeaker stays in place rather than becoming a chocking or swallow hazard, and she still loves to chew it. Next, we must throw the ball approximately 723 times the first day, possibly 496 times on day 2, and just 3- 4 on day 3, at which point she will chase the ball before hollering "it's over here if you need it," while she checks on the chipmunk den. We currently have 17 of these balls in our yard (because we have given several leftovers to a less discriminating doodle next door). These balls hold up really well, get her extremely active for the first couple of days, and are a much cheaper than doggie daycare (after an active morning with a new ball, she is happy to chew on it and sleep much of the day). I always have these on hand!

Pieces chewed off

My Aussiedoodle loves it. I throw it down the hallway, it bounces crazy, and he chases it. The only complaint is that he can't chew much of the ball part. So now I have to have it put away and brought out for special playtime.

Colorful, Sturdy & Great Value

Purchased for our two puppies when they were 2 months old and weighed about 14 pounds so theses balls were a little big for them to hold in their mouths but that didn't stop them from trying. While they did like these balls they much preferred softer soccer balls, the later of which did not hold up well at all. I had hoped they would play with these balls more when they were older but that hasn't happened 5 months later. I guess it's no fun if you can't tear the toy apart. Colors are very bright and they do enjoy chasing after them as long as I am the one rolling them across the room for them. Maybe when they progress to batting things with their paws they will start to do this for themselves.
