The Japanese photographer, who died in January 2024 at the age of eighty-three, developed a cult following for his images of celebrities and nudes.
Kishin Shinoyama was a Japanese photographer. He was well-known for photographing the covers for John Lennon and Yoko Ono's albums, Double Fantasy and Milk and Honey. Before his marriage to Saori Minami in 1979, he took majority of the photographs for her album covers with CBS/Sony.
