We first bought one for grown our son to go with the 10 inch foam mattress. We thought it would be easier to manage if he were to move. Then we bought one for our foam mattress when the box springs was wearing out. Amazing ! It fit perfectly in inside our queen size bed frame with a headboard and footboard. Love it. We also bought one as stand alone frame for the guestbed foam mattress. We're happy campers! These are strong, inexpensive and much easier to move than a platform bed or box springs.
