蓝勇，四川泸州人。现为西南大学历史地理研究所所长、西南历史地理研究中心主任、教授，历史地理学博士点学术带头人，兼任国家社会科学基金专家组专家等。享受政府特殊津贴，曾获霍英东优秀青年教师奖（研究类）、四川巴蜀十佳优秀教师等称号和荣誉，入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划等。另著有《巴蜀江湖菜历史调查报告》。
