Harnessing the powers of Weleda’s original and well-loved Skin Food, our fragrant body butter imbues your skin with a unique combination of botanical extracts. Pansy, calendula and chamomile help to soothe dry skin, while organic shea and cocoa butter leave it intensely nourished and petal-soft. The fast-absorbing butter leaves a non-greasy skin feel while providing lasting hydration. The all-natural fragrance carries a touch of lingering sweet orange, aromatic lavender and balsamic benzoin. Key ingredients:
Viola Tricolor Extract is especially characterised by its long-chain sugars. These form a moisturising and protective layer on the skin. Therefore, the extract is very suitable for the care of dry and sensitive skin.
Sunflower Seed Oil: The pale yellow to clear sunflower oil is a light vegetable oil. It works as a perfect massage oil and it is ideal for the attention of normal and combination skin. Due to its high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic and oleic acid, it is full of skin caring properties and it is suitable as a carrier oil for active substances.
Cocoa Seed Butter is a relative firm and brittle butter-like vegetable fat. It improves the consistency of emulsions and acts as a protective barrier to the skin, which preserves its moisture balance. It is therefore especially suited for dry and sensitive skin. The characteristic aroma of cocoa leaves behind a pleasant scent.
Rosemary Leaf Extract: Rosemary leaves contain the essential rosemary oil, caffeic acid derivatives, flavonoids and triterpenes. Rosemary leaf extracts have a tonic effect. They are suitable as ingredients in skin care products for tired, pale skin.
Matricaria Flower Extract: The Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract of the flowers, stems and leaves of the chamomile plant contains essential oils, flavone derivatives and coumarin. Chamomile flower extracts have a skin-soothing effect and support the regeneration of the skin.
