This follow-on formula is intended for use as part of a mixed diet for babies 10-12 months old that are already receiving complimentary food or breastmilk. It can also be used as your baby weans off breastmilk. This can be used directly as a follow on to HiPP Stage 2. The inclusion of starch, along with lactose, enhances the formula's creamy texture and flavour.
Stage 2 and Stage 3 have higher vitamins and minerals, more caloric value, and most importantly higher iron levels. European Baby formulas have added iron from the 6 month onwards because babies have adequate iron stores after birth up until this stage when it becomes especially important.
For those seeking a starch-free alternative, we recommend HiPP Dutch Stage 2 or HiPP Dutch Stage 3
Follow-on formulas include HiPP Kindermilch 1+ and, later on, HiPP Kindermilch 2+.
