The WBT Wall Brace Tensioner is an efficient device designed to eliminate slack in cold-formed steel (CFS) strap bracing, enhancing the stability of braced wall panels.

Simpson Strong-Tie WBT-KT30 Features
- Removes up to 1/2" of slack from a single strap
- Can be used on straps up to 6" wide, 14 ga. (68 mil) thick
- Max torque on bolt in strap is 115 in.-lb.
- Compatible with generic strap and Simpson Strong-Tie CS coil strap
- Durable construction with 10-gauge galvanized steel

Simpson Strong-Tie WBT-KT30 Installation Overview
- Place WBT near center of diagonal brace
- Drill 1/4"-dia. hole through the center of strap width
- Install bolt through strap hole and WBT with nut facing towards the wall cavity
- Tighten the nut using a 10mm hex head socket setter until the slack is removed

This sunblock works really well. I like that it is only mineral based and it glides on easily . Due to its compact size I can carry this in my makeup bag. I placed sunblock every 2 hours on my face while I was in the swimming pool and I never got a sunburn. Pricey but easy to apply and compact size .
