Clio 197/200 / Megane 3/4 RS Lower balljoint toolThis tool allows the removal of the lower balljoint on the Clio 197 200 and Megane 3 4 RS. These balljoints are notorious for failing and are then quite difficult to remove as they are screwed into the lower arm but have a tendency to seize due to the steel construction of the balljoint being screwed into the aluminium lower arm. These are made from high impact resistant steel that is hardened and tempered to ensure they will not break during use.
This tool allows the removal of the lower balljoint on the Clio 197/200 and Megane 3/4 RS. These balljoints are notorious for failing and are then quite difficult to remove as they are screwed into the lower arm but have a tendency to seize due to the steel construction of the balljoint being screwed into the aluminium lower arm.
These are made from high impact resistant steel that is hardened and tempered to ensure they will not break during use. They can be used with an impact gun or standard wrench with a 32mm hex on the end.
Our recommendation is to use the nut from the balljoint to hold the tool in place while it is impacted off to ensure the teeth don't skip.
