The Sharp MD-ST600 is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
Released in 2003, it supports MDLP, is equipped with a 16 megabit DRAM, and has a practical maximum output of 5mW + 5mW (32Ω).
It weighs 75 grams without a battery or disc installed.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
