The Sony MZ-EH50 is a Hi-MD compatible MiniDisc player. It is fully compatible with standard MiniDisc media.
It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
Released in 2005, it weighs 80 grams without a battery or disc installed.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
