It regulates the flow of natural gas to the burner during ignition and normal heating operation as part of the heaters gas train. This replacement valve is for Natural Gas models only and fits Hayward H150FDN, H200FDN, H250FDN, H300FDN, H350FDN, and H400FDN heaters (model numbers ending in FDN).
