A wonderful example of the Asaphus acadoparadoxides briareus trilobite measuring held by the custom brass mount, our classic range of specimens set into brass clasps. The specimen can be easily lifted off for study. An absolutely unique specimen with good preservation, the trilobite plate has formed nicely with care throughout preparation which has been evidently taken. A wonderful and natural specimen in such a condition elevates the trilobite to the top echelons in trilobite collecting from this location and time period.

The attractive colour is from the fossil bed. Heavy minerals cause the burnt umber colouration a byproduct of the heavy concentrations of iron in the region of the fossil bed and typical of this formation. This transpires as a dusty coating of fine limestone. Giving the fossil a most recognisable signature. The dark brass colour of the mounts complements the fossils.

The process of fossilisation is best achieved in an anoxic environment when sufficiently buried without oxygen bacteria cannot quickly establish on the once-living organisms and so this enables the successful and very rare event of fossilisation. The beautiful palette colours were caused by mineral absorption into the invertebrate's carapaces (exoskeleton) and surrounding matrix (fossil bedrock), this created natural earth colours which are mainly due to iron oxides being present in the sediments. The sublime and natural placement of the extinct ocean-dwelling arthropods is aesthetically pleasing with thoracic furrows and appendages creating dramatic shadowy forgotten worlds.

Good paper bowls & a great deal.
Size: 100 Count
Strong, soak proof and grease resistant. I was going to order Dixie plates and these popped up and were a better deal.

These plates are great. They are better than store-bought. Very sturdy and helpful. When unable to stand any length of time doing dishes. Easy cleaning.

Perfect Teacher Water Cup for Long School Days
Size: 40 Ounces, Color: Rose Quartz 2.0
As a teacher, I carry this with me constantly, and it’s honestly been one of my most-used purchases. The 40 oz size is great because I can fill it once in the morning and not constantly worry about refilling it throughout the school day. It keeps water cold for hours, even when it’s sitting in my classroom all day, and the handle makes it much easier to carry along with everything else teachers somehow end up holding. I also like that it fits in my car cup holder despite being large. The straw lid is convenient for quick sips during class, and the Rose Quartz color is really pretty without being too flashy. The cup feels sturdy and well made, and it’s held up well to daily use. The only downside is that when completely full, it can feel a little heavy, but that’s expected with a large stainless steel tumbler. Overall though, it’s been incredibly practical for staying hydrated during busy teaching days. Definitely worth it if you’re someone who’s constantly on the go and wants cold water all day.
