All external facing screws present and tightened.

Released in 2002, the Sony MZ-N1 is the first NetMD recorder. It has both playback and recording functionality. 
All of the menu items are displayed in English. For example, 'EDIT', 'DISPLAY', 'PLAY MODE', 'SOUND', and so on.
It was sold with the RM-MC12ELK inline remote control in Japan.
It weighs 90 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
