Crimson Cascade will tolerate most soil types easily without making any excuses. However, it will thrive in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, planted in full sun. It will tolerate partial shade and is resistant to frost and scab.
If you are looking for an apple tree that has a low water requirement and requires low upkeep, this is it. Malus Cascade does not require any specific hard pruning either. Simply remove any dead or damaged twigs before spring to maintain its shape and size.

Great tool for tire plugs
I have been using tire plugs with great success for decades. I have probably installed close to 50 plugs. The hardest part can be reaming the hole to the proper size to get a plug installed. I have wanted something like this for years. These are well made, and while I have not had to use them yet, I have no doubts they will work great the next time I find a screw or nail in a tire.
