Französischer Importstempel für Gegenstände aus Gold an der Öse (ab 29. 6. 1893): Mindestfeingehalt von 750/1000 (18 Karat).

Jules Delépierre wurde 1820 in Armentières geboren und war Geiger, Xylophonist und Komponist, möglicherweise sogar Instrumentenbauer. Mit seinen Kindern, welche als Wunderkinder an der Violine und dem Xylophon galten, trat er in ganz Europa auf. 1862 bekam er vom dänischen König die Ehrenmedaille "Ingenio et arti" verliehen, in diesem Zusammenhang dürften ihm die Einwohner seiner Heimatstadt auch vorliegende Goldmedaille überreicht haben.
