Die Verbindung der originalen Zahnräder am Kurbelwellenzapfen wird mittels einer kraftschlüssigen Verbindung über Diamantscheiben realisiert.

Hierbei kommt es im Originalzustand oftmals zum Durchrutschen dieser Diamantscheibe. Resultierend aus diesem Durchrutschen kann es zum Verstellen der Steuerzeiten und im schlimmsten Fall zu einem kapitalen Motorschaden führen.

Bei dem hier verfügbaren Kit wird die Verbindung der Kurbelwelle zur Nockenwelle und Ölpumpe nicht mehr über Diamantscheiben gelöst, der Aufbau wurde grundlegend verbessert. Das mehrteilige Design des originalen Bauteils wird durch den einteiligen Hub ersetzt.
