Beschreibung: Diese auffälligen Serviettenringe werden von Kunsthandwerkerinnen aus Sandoná, einer kleinen Stadt, die sich in den Bergen Südkolumbiens versteckt, aus Toquilla-Palmenblättern hergestellt. Bei der Herstellung wird eine traditionelle Technik angewandt, bei der zunächst Fasern aus den Toquilla-Blättern gewonnen werden; diese Fasern werden dann gefärbt und miteinander verflochten, um schöne und sorgfältige Stücke zu schaffen, die den höchsten Ausdruck der Kultur und Identität der Region darstellen.
