Hilft hier vielleicht die blöde Kippelbank, die Großvater Lindstedt als pädagogischen Schachzug einsetzt? Und auch Sohn Hannes bereitet seinem Vater Otto Kopfzerbrechen: Gemeinsam mit einem Mann aus dem Nachbardorf stiehlt er für ein ungewöhnliches Experiment Saatgut aus dem Speicher der Genossenschaften: Es geht um die Getreideaussaat im Winter.
