Das Vanguard VEO2S CM-264TBP120T ist ein leichtes und kompaktes Carbon-Einbeinstativ mit faltbaren Tri-Füßen für zusätzliche Stabilität und verfügt über einen einzigartigen VEO BP-120T-Kugelkopf, der in Sekundenschnelle in einen Schwenkkopf umgewandelt werden kann. Die Arca-kompatible QS-72T Schnellwechselplatte ermöglicht die Aufnahme von Kamera und Smartphones, sowie zusätzlichem  Zubehör.

Egal, ob Sie Ihre Last leichter machen möchten oder zusätzliche Stabilität an einem Ort benötigen, an dem ein Stativ nicht funktioniert, dieses Einbeinstativ könnte die ideale Lösung zum Aufnehmen von Fotos oder Videos sein. Mit der Funktion des Einbeinstativs mit den zusätzlichen Tri-Füßen haben Sie gegenüber einem herkömmlichen  Einbeinstativ eine erhöhte Stabilität und Funktionalität, während Sie eine winzige Stellfläche beibehalten.

Der VEO2S CM-264TBP120T hat eine maximale Tragfähigkeit von 12 kg, was perfekt für fast jede Art von DSLR/spiegellose Kamera ist, ob für Fotografie oder Video. Alternativ kann es für kleinere Spektive oder Ferngläser verwendet werden.

Das 23-mm-Einbeinstativ aus Carbon wiegt nur 1,3 kg und lässt sich dank der 4 Segmente auf 60 cm zusammenklappen. Der zusätzliche Karabiner ermöglicht die Befestigung an Taschen ohne Stativhalterung, oder alternativ ermöglichen der Gummifuß und die Handschlaufe die Verwendung als Gehhilfe, wodurch das Bewegen von Ort zu Ort schnell und effektiv wird.

Bei Bedarf ermöglichen die ½DRehverschlüsseverschlüsse eine sekundenschnelle Einrichtung und Höhenanpassung, sodass Sie auf einer Höhe zwischen  60 cm bis 165 cm arbeiten können. 

Auch die Drehverschlüsse zeichnen sich durch ein robustes und wartungsfreundliches Design aus. Salz, Sand uns Schmutz kann einfach aus den Verschlüssen ausgewaschen werden.

Die Tri-Füße sind fest montiert, klappen aber zum Transport des Einbeinstativs hoch und lassen sich aber sehr schnell wieder ausfahren. Die Basis enthält auch ein Kugelgelenk, das für maximale Stabilität festgezogen oder gelöst werden kann, um dynamischere Bewegungen zu ermöglichen, z. B. das Verfolgen eines sich bewegenden Objekts. 

Das einzigartige Design des mit Arca Swiss kompatiblen Kopfes VEO BP-120T bietet maximale Vielseitigkeit für Amateur- und Profifotografen gleichermaßen.

Als Kugelkopf hat er einen soliden Halt für Ausrüstung mit einem Gewicht von bis zu 12 kg und verfügt über zwei ergonomische Verriegelungsknöpfe, die auch bei Kälte und Nässe einfach zu bedienen sind. Der erste zum Sperren des Kugelgelenks und der zweite zum Sperren/Freigeben der Schwenkbewegung. Dies macht es perfekt für die traditionelle Fotografie und diejenigen, die einen Kugelkopf bevorzugen.

Da immer mehr Fotografen Videos mit ihrer spiegellosen/DSLR-Kamera aufnehmen, hat Vanguard den VEO  BP-120T entwickelt, um einen Kopf zu schaffen, der beides kann. Einfach den mitgelieferten Teleskop-Schwenkgriff einschrauben und bewegten Motiven mühelos folgen. Alternativ kann dies dann für ein kleines Spektiv oder Fernglas oder sogar für das Vloggen unterwegs verwendet werden.

Als weiterer Vorteil verfügt die QS-72T Arca-kompatible Schnellwechselplatte über eine Smartphone-Klemme, die jedes Smartphone mit einer Breite von bis zu 9 cm halten kann. Dazu gehören eine Kaltschuhhalterung für eine Lampe oder ein Mikrofon und ein 1/4-Zoll-Gewinde an der Seite zum Anbringen eines Supportarms für noch mehr Vielseitigkeit. Es enthält auch eine Bluetooth-Fernbedienung für IOS- oder Android-Telefone, mit der Sie das auslösen können Kamera-/Videofunktion aus der Ferne. Als Ergebnis ist dies ein perfektes Stativ, um Ihre Smartphone-Fotografie auf eine andere Ebene zu heben oder für Vlogging zu Hause oder unterwegs zu verwenden.

In jedem Fall erhöht diese einfache Lösung die Vielseitigkeit des Einbeinstativs und beseitigt die Notwendigkeit, Kompromisse bei der Wahl zwischen einem Kugelkopf und einem Neigekopf einzugehen.

Excellent treatment of a narrow subject: how society shaped the church

This book is not a comprehensive overview of the church from 700-1500, nor is it a narrative treatment or an introduction. This book is highly selective, focusing on one central theme. Its strengths are in its organization and in the examples it gives to illustrate its theme. These examples are concrete, vivid and use quotations from original documents to excellent effect. The theme of the book is how society shaped the church. Southern examines the main institutions of the church -- the papacy, bishops, religious orders and fringe orders -- and shows how the needs and interests of society molded each. Perhaps having written on 1000-1200 in other books, for me, the strongest insights Southern makes here are on the periods 750-1000 and 1200-1500. Insights that particularly struck me: the importance of magic from 750-1000; the evolution of bishops, from supporting local rulers to supporting the pope; the importance of the Augustinian canons in the twelfth century, seeing them as one end of a pole, with the Cistercians on the other end and the Benedictines in the middle; the role of Franciscans and Dominicans in supporting scholars in the thirteenth century; and the fringe orders -- the book has one of the best treatments of the Brethren of the Common Life from the fourteenth century that I have come across. The book is highly selective. There is no treatment in this book on intellectual life (the "new learning") or artistic life, nor is there much on the heresies of the period or popular religion (the "new piety"). What the book does select to treat, it does so in a deep, highly readable, substantial way. One will definitely come away with how the demands of society molded the church. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful book, but not a general reference on the subject & period
Format: Paperback
Southern's powerful study of the organizational and administrative structures of the medieval church is a wonderful antidote for the popular view of the Middle Ages as a long period of almost continual chaos between the Fall of the Roman Empire and the Renaissance (i.e. the "Dark Ages"). Southern does a fantastically good job of explaining and illustrating the central truth of the Church in the Middle Ages, i.e. that the Church was identical with society to an extent that had never been true before and has never been true since. That said, Southern's disciplined approach is often too much of a good thing and there are a number of topics which one would expect to take pride of place in a typical narrative history of the subject and period that Southern touches on only obliquely and insofar as they are relevant to his primary topic: those neglected stories include the long papal/imperial struggle (Guelps & Ghibellines), the Crusades, the Black Death, etc.. Southern also has a puzzling and sometimes maddening tendency to couch the discussion in terms of implications, roles and epithets instead of being explicit and just naming names. E.g. in the context of the discussion of the fall of Constantinople, Mehmed II is mentioned äs "the conqueror", but not by name; that a pope visited Constantinople in 710 for the first time and last time in premodern history is noted, but the pope is not named (it was Constantine); some of consequences of the "Donation of Constantine" are implied fairly early in the book, but it is not explitly named (and then, to add to the reader's irritation, discussed later as if the topic had already been explitly introduced). These are all characteristic slips of an expert used to addressing other experts in his field attempting in this instance to write a more or less introductory text. They are understandable slips, but they take their toll. The book is generally excellent & well worth reading and it is hard to imagine a better introduction to the topics it does cover, but unfortunately, and unlike Chadwick's initial volume in this series, it does not serve well as a general reference on the history of the Medieval Church.

The author does an excellent job of providing an overview of the social setting of the middle ages and how the papacy, the East-West schism and the religious orders developed during this time period.
