You must travel across desert and plains, over mountains and through red canyons, helping wandering creatures of every shape and size to reach the city safely.

In Creature Caravan, players build a tableau of creatures as they travel across a beautiful but dangerous land. Players take turns simultaneously rolling dice on their cards, moving their caravan across the map, and playing new creature cards. Players also compete to trade goods and rare coins in a shared marketplace, search the mysterious white towers, and battle ember zombies along their journey. The game ends when one player reaches Eastrey. The player with the most points wins.

The game contains 134 cards, each with a unique illustration and combination of actions and skills. The simultaneous gameplay allows one to four players to play together without increasing the playing time. The Wanderers expansion (available separately or included in the Deluxe Edition) allows for up to six players to play.
