Im Jahr 2019 eröffnete Pia Diefenthal das Atelier am Friesenwall im Herzen von Köln. Hier, wo die Firma ihre Wurzeln hat, werden Hüte und Kappen im Sinne bester Hutmachertradition neu interpretiert und modernisiert.

Die Firma Diefenthal wurde 1905 von Pias Urgroßvater Wilhelm Diefenthal gegründet. Trotz zahlreicher Herausforderungen und wechselnder Modetrends konnte sich das Unternehmen stets behaupten. Selbst in Zeiten, als Hüte aus der Mode kamen, bewahrte Pias Vater, Gerd Diefenthal, das Handwerk und führte es mit Innovationen erfolgreich in die Moderne.

Heute steht DIEFENTHAL1905 für eine exklusive Kollektion von Hüten und Kappen für Damen und Herren. Really love this sunscreen. I was using shiseido before which has a nice texture but this one I honestly think is better. It doesn’t burn my eyes when I’m at the gym like other sunscreen too. Don’t usually need to wear a moisturizer with it because it is moisturizing, but I guess some people may consider a con depending on what you’re looking for. I am a super oily girl in general and I would say if you are sensitive to that then maybe try one of their more mattifying ones which I plan to do after I run out of this one. Otherwise, I don’t think I will change brands for SPF after trying this.
