"Here to see a better world" ist das Motto von Parafina. Statt auf neue Ressourcen zurückzugreifen, setzt das Unternehmen auf Upcycling. Die Brillengestelle werden aus verschiedenen recycelten oder nachwachsenden Materialien hergestellt.

Soziales Engagement liegt Parafina besonders am Herzen: Fünf Prozent des Umsatzes fließen in Schulen in Paraguay und finanzieren den Transport, die Bücher und das Schulessen der Kinder. Der Name "Parafina" entstand aus der lebendigen Fantasie der Kinder, die Teil des Sozialprojekts in Paraguay sind. Die Parafina-Brillen werden in Etuis aus recyceltem PVC verkauft. Ein besonderes Highlight: In jeder Box befindet sich ein Bleistift aus recyceltem Holz, in dessen Ende Samen für eine neue Pflanze zu finden sind.

Raising any puppy is tough. Raising a German Shepherd puppy has often left me questioning my life choices.
