Diese Technik macht den Teppich schmutzabweisend und garantiert seine Langlebigkeit: sein Flor wird mit einem Kamm so fest zusammengedrückt, dass er beinahe senkrecht nach oben steht. Beliebt ist das Herati-Muster als Design, es kommen jedoch auch Medaillon- und Blumenmusterungen vor.
