ruckeri = Sigismund RUCKER, engl. Orchideenliebhaber (ca. 1809-1875). Er hatte eine große Orchideensammlung in West Hill, seinem Haus in Wandsworth. Rucker züchtete über 40 Jahre lang Orchideen und besaß ab 1844 auch eine Sammlung von Bäumen, Sträuchern, Eriken und Azaleen.
