Der Sattelgurt hat außerdem dünnere, sich verjüngende Enden, die den Druck an der Kante gleichmäßig verteilen und so Scheuerstellen verhindern und den Komfort des Pferdes gewährleisten.Um den Schutz zu erhöhen, verfügt der Sattelgurt über einen flachen Schlagschutz, der das Pferd vor Stollen schützt.
