Das WARP_FOIL erweitert die Palette unserer PWA- und IFCA Fin-Slalom-Champion-Segel. Es handelt sich um ein hochspezialisiertes Foil-Design für erfahrene Foil-Racer abgestimmt auf den verringerten Wasserwiderstand des Hydrofoils. Im Vergleich zum traditionellen Fin-Surfen hat man ca. 70% weniger Widerstand auf dem Foil. Damit das Segel zu widerstandsarmen Hydrofoils passt, muss das gesamte Segelprofil und der Twistverlauf anpasst werden.

Das Design des 20.24 stellte einen Meilenstein dar, da wir den Windbereich (= verbesserte Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit) und die Flugkontrolle im oberen Bereich (=verbessertes V-Max) massiv verbesserten konnten. Um dies zu erreichen, haben wir die Vorliekskurve deutlich erhöht und die Topgröße reduziert. Eine verkürzte Gabelbaumlänge sowie die Integration einer massiven Double-Foil-Sleeve waren weitere Schlüsselelemente der Konstruktion.

Das Konzept des WARP_FOIL 2024 wurde sehr gut aufgenommen, so dass wir beschlossen, mit einer weiterentwickelten Version auf dem Erfolg aufzubauen. Durch ein Update der Lattenkonfiguration mit einem steiferen Setup haben wir die unglaubliche Effizienz des Segels beibehalten und gleichzeitig die Kontrolle bei stärkerem Wind nochmals verbessert. Diese Änderung ist gepaart mit einem etwas flacheren Eingangsprofil, was den Topspeed in allen Größen verbessert. Zusammen machen diese Updates das WARP_FOIL zu einem noch besseren Foilsegel für 2025.

In unseren Augen definiert der WARP_FOIL 20.25 den Maßstab für das Verhältnis von Kontrolle, Leistung und Windreichweite neu. Es wurde einzig und allein dafür entwickelt Foil-Races zu gewinnen!

Achtung: für maximale Leistung ist das WARP_FOIL mit 4 Carbon Tube-Latten ausgestattet. Diese Latten sind steifer, aber leider auch zerbrechlicher als Glass Tube-Latten. Daher sind sie von unserer Garantie ausgeschlossen!
